Privacy Policy for Dartify

1. Summary

Dartify does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app works fully offline. No account, no sign-up, and no internet connection are required to use any feature.

2. Information We Collect

None. Dartify does not collect any personal information, device identifiers, advertising IDs, usage analytics, or crash reports. There is no telemetry of any kind.

3. Local Data Storage

The following data is stored only on your device, in a local SQLite database (Drift) and the operating system's standard preferences storage:

  • Game history (scores, individual throws, leg and set results)
  • Player names you enter for local games
  • Statistics derived from your games (averages, checkout percentage, dart heatmap)
  • Training program progress
  • App settings (sound, haptics, theme, language)

This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app removes all of it. There is no cloud backup.

4. Third-Party Services

Dartify does not integrate any third-party SDK that collects, stores, or transmits user data. Specifically, the app does not use:

  • Analytics (Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
  • Crash reporting (Crashlytics, Sentry, Bugsnag, etc.)
  • Advertising networks (AdMob, Meta Audience Network, etc.)
  • Cloud sync, authentication, or messaging services
  • Tracking or fingerprinting libraries

5. Permissions

Dartify requests only the minimum permissions needed for offline play:

  • WAKE_LOCK (Android only): keeps the screen on during a game so it does not sleep mid-throw.

The app does not request: internet, microphone, camera, location, contacts, photos, or any other sensitive permission.

6. Children's Privacy

Dartify is suitable for ages 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected at all, COPPA (US) and GDPR-K (EU) obligations regarding the handling of children's personal data do not apply.

7. Data Security

Because no data leaves your device, there is no transmission to secure. Local data is stored inside your device's app sandbox, protected by the operating system's standard application isolation.

8. Your Rights

Since Dartify does not collect or hold any of your data, there is nothing for us to access, export, correct, or delete on our side. To clear all local data, uninstall the app. Reinstalling provides a fresh, empty database.

This applies regardless of jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, KVKK, etc.) — there is simply no personal data on our end to act upon.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if the app's behavior changes (for example, if optional cloud sync or accounts are added in a future version). Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
